i am late/behind because i was on campus all day for work & the GLAM & then a board mtg. also, winnipeg has received roughly four feet of swirling snow since yesterday. it is a very dark feeling to go back to your winter coat and big stompy SUV-equivalent boots when only two days prior you frittered about in flats and a breezy cotton trenchcoat.

Yesterday's additions:
sammich with lettuce, tomato, cukes, cold cuts and mustard (Free!)
potato salad (Free!)
cantalope slices (Free!)
brownie-ish dainty thing (Free!)
(an event was ending when i walked into the cafeteria so they let staff/students raid the spread. everything tasted especially good because it cost NOTHING!).
poutine* (more like POOtine, because it sucked and i paid for it. cafeteria REALLY let me down on that one).
doritos (chez chavvah)
cinnamon hearts (chex chavvah)

*ugh, D came home with this incredibly bland/dense loaf of bread and it's like a mile long so it's never gonna be done! gotta make grocery shopping happen this weekend. srsly.
