TODAY

lunch with zur_the_weird at The Food Tree (Korean Restaurant) near campus:
assorted kimchi (pickled veggies, think a ginger with sushi-type situation)
shared pork mandu (korean dumplings)
cheese ramyeon: (korean soup) with noodles, soft melty cheese, veggie broth, onions, red peppers etc

nutty water (is it a hint of green tea, maybe?)
sweet iced coffee (sooooo delicious!)

my lunch was nourishing for both body & mind today as it included a very lengthy/engaging conversation with zur_the_weird about relationships, HAES, FA, philosophy, travel, Zizek & Star Trek. on my way back from lunch i went into the breakroom to refrigerate my cheese ramyeon leftovers, where i ran into Curly-Haired Slam Poet. we jawed about Vancouver, the superiority of socialist German social health policies (3-year paid parental leave! govt-subsidized spa health treatments to help treat addictions!) and cat personality traits.
