me: i am spectacularly behind and sinking. i tried to stay up all night but that failed.

Did you grow up in my family church? Because I would've sworn that the song quoted in this title was made up by my childhood choir director. Sit on a tack, such a crazy idea! I am hornswaggled to know that this was a widespread song.
